In his passing, David has been joyfully reunited with his parents and brothers, leaving behind a cherished memory in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. On August 7, 1960, David embarked on a beautiful journey of love when he married Mary Ann Snodgrass. Over the course of 63 years, their love blossomed and became the foundation of a family filled with joy and togetherness.
Together, they navigated the intricacies of life, raising three children, and witnessing the growth of a beautiful family tree that now extends through 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. David’s commitment to family extended beyond the love he shared with Mary Ann. As a loving father and grandfather, he played an integral role in the lives of his children and grandchildren. In 1999, David and Mary Ann retired, embarking on a new chapter in Coffeyville, Kansas, where they enjoyed the fruits of their labor and the warmth of a close-knit community. To honor and celebrate the life of David Edwin Gardner, a funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Vision Church, 906 Elm St. in Coffeyville, Kansas. Pastor Gary Close will officiate the service.
